Understanding malaria has been established as a non-profit corporation. Its objective is to carry out research on malaria with emphasis on how the occurrence and severity of malaria can be reduced by improvements in nutrition and drinking water quality. The organisation is incorporated in Ireland and will conduct research worldwide. Its main goal is to expand knowledge to reduce the burden of the disease particularly in Africa. We are establishing an office In Lodwar, Turkana, Kenya.

We welcome donations from all – individuals, businesses, governments, and non-government organisations to support this research.
